Paper Bags and Plastic Bags

Smurfit Kappa has vast experience in working with and supplying both paper bags and plastic bags. We gained this experience through two of our most successful products, bag in box and paper sacks. Bag in box is a product most commonly seen in the wine industry which accommodates a plastic bag with a tap for pouring inside a cardboard box for protection.

Our paper sacks division produces high volumes of paper bags or sacks which are often lined with plastic bags. The main market for these bags is food and agriculture however we have significant share in some chemical markets such as cement and other construction products.
